riteSCAN Misc Receipt Introduction
The Miscellaneous Receipt module allows a user to Post an Receipt for a Stock Code within a Warehouse without the need to have a Purchase Order or Job to create the inventory for the a Stock Code. This guide will cover the use of the Misc Receipt module.
Misc Receipt Settings
In the Misc Receipt module main screen, select the gear button to enter Misc Receipt Settings.
On this Settings screen, you can change the Cost Type, the Mode between Single Mode (post one Receipt at a time) or Batch Mode (queue up multiple Receipts for one single post). You can also enable To and From Pallets, if you are licensed for Pallet Tracking. Additional Settings can be configured under Setup > Roles > Edit Role.
Misc Receipt Walkthrough
As you enter the Misc Receipt module, you’ll see this screen. Your first step will be to enter the relevant data to identify the item you are Receipting for, so enter or scan the Warehouse and Stock Code.
If your company is Multi-Bin, you will see a field to enter Bin information.
Enter the Quantity you are Receipting.
Optionally enter a Note and Reference.
Click Post.
Misc Receipt Role Settings
The Role settings for Miscellaneous Receipt control the Access that the Users in the Role have to and while using the module.
There is also a Defaults section that controls the Transaction Mode for the module and allows Default values to be automatically filled in when entering the module.
The Permissions section controls if the Users are able to create new Bins in Multi-Bin Warehouses, if the Users can Post to a Stock Code and Warehouse that have a Stock Take in progress, and allowing the Users to change the Ledger Code or the Unit of Measure.
