riteSCAN 8 Pallets Guide

riteSCAN Pallets Introduction

Pallets, which are added as a part of the Pallet Tracking Add-On to riteSCAN, allow a business to group, manage, and move mixed inventory items or materials on a single pallet, and transfer them to another Warehouse, Bin or to your shop floor via a single transaction. Simply put, Pallets are just a logical grouping of items that has a ID number to make moving that group of items faster and easier in riteSCAN which moves them SYSPRO.

The riteSCAN Pallets module displays the list of Pallets and allows users to add new or edit existing Pallets.

Using Pallets in Modules

Within different riteSCAN Module's Options there are Settings that control which Pallet Fields are shown in that module. The settings available will depend on that Module's functionality and how it will interact with Pallets. For example, the Bin Transfer Module has the ability to do transactions that send items To a Pallet, remove items From a Pallet or transfer a whole Pallet by changing the Label Type to Pallet.
