riteSCAN 8 Job Receipt Guide

riteSCAN 8 Job Receipt Introduction

The Job Receipt function will receive finished good either into inventory or inspection.  The process for both types of transactions is the same.

  • riteSCAN automatically performs the correct type of receipt based on how the item is defined in SYSPRO.
  • If the finished item requires inspection a receipt into WIP inspection will be performed.
  • If the item is not inspectable it will be received into inventory.

Job Receipt Module Options

In the Job Receipt module main screen, select the gear button to enter Job Receipt Options. These settings can also be Defaulted and Locked down in Role Settings > Job Receipt > Module Customization > Module Options.

On this Options screen, you can:

  • Enable showing the Print Dialog.
  • Change the Mode between Single Mode (post one Receipt at a time) or Batch Mode (queue up multiple Receipts for one single post).
  • Change the Lot Expiry Date field to record a standard Expiry Date entered by the Users or have the Users enter the Manufactured Date and the Shelf Life configured in SYSPRO will be added to it to calculate the Expiry Date. Both the Expiry Date and Manufactured  Date will be posted to SYSPRO.
  • You can also enable Receipting To a Pallet, if you are licensed for Pallet Tracking.
  • Enable Smart Scan if a barcode will be used that has more than one field's data in it.
  • Additional Settings can be configured under Setup > Roles > Edit Role.
