riteSCAN 8 Order Picking Introduction
The Order Picking module works directly with SYSPRO’s Sales Orders module. Order Picking improves the front office’s ability to validate what’s being picked and allows users to pick for a single order or in batches for multiple orders. The Order Picking Module works similarly to the Dispatch Picking module in riteSCAN. This guide will cover the use of the Order Picking module.
Order Picking Module Options
In the Order Picking module main screen, select the gear button to enter Order Picking Options. These settings can also be Defaulted and Locked down in Role Settings > Order Picking > Module Customization > Module Options.
On this Options screen, you can:
- Enable showing the Print Dialog (Shows at time of Completing the Order).
- Enable showing the Pick Print Dialog (Shows after every Pick).
- Enable showing the Pick Slip Print Dialog. (Shows Order Picking Document Prints that are available)
- Change the Workflow between Grid (Looks more like Excel) or List View (Looks more like Mobile Mode).
- Change the Label Type between Stock Code if you are scanning the Stock Codes to Pick or Pallet if you are scanning whole Pallet numbers to Pick all the items on them at once.
- Enable Consolidate Stock Codes so Sales Order Lines that have the same Stock Codes, Bins, Lots or Serials are consolidated onto less Lines within Order Picking.
- Enable Picking From or To a Pallet, if you are licensed for Pallet Tracking.
- Enable Smart Scan if a barcode will be used that has more than one field's data in it.
- Additional Settings can be configured under Setup > Roles > Edit Role.
