The Order Staging module Allows a user to prepare a collection of items for picking. This Module allows items to be staged for use in riteSCAN Order Picking and can also be used for staging items for use in Warehouse and Bin Transfers. This guide will cover the use of the Order Staging module.

Order Staging Settings

In the Roles Page, there are some settings that will affect how Order Staging functions. You can allow, warn or disallow picking less or more than the expected quantity. You will also be able to allow or disallow some actions and permissions.

Actions

The Actions section specifies which actions Users are prompted to perform upon hitting the Complete button. Stock Codes can automatically be transferred to different Bins and Warehouses to be staged in different locations. It can also allow or disallow automatic Picking of the Sales Order after Completion in Order Staging.

Permissions

The Permissions section will allow or disallow:

1) Staging for multiple Bins which allows or does not allow the Users to specify a different From Bin on the Staging Item dialog above.

2) Automatic Time Tracking which tracks the amount of time that elapses from the time a Sales Order is entered in Order Staging to the time of Completion.
