riteSCAN 8 Inventory Staging Guide

riteSCAN Inventory Staging Introduction

The riteSCAN Inventory Staging module works similarly to riteSCAN's Order Staging Module. This module provides a mechanism to manage the preperation of goods for future movement and processing. The Inventory Staging module can be found under the Inventory tab in riteSCAN. This guide will cover the use of the Inventory Staging module.

Inventory Staging Walkthrough

As you enter the Inventory Staging module, you will see the Main screen. Enter or scan your Warehouse and Stock Code.

If your company is Multi-Bin, you will see a space to enter the Bin you are staging the items in.

After entering the above information, this screen will pop up. Enter the Quantity you are Staging. Optionally enter a Note and Reference.

Click Add.

You will see the Item Staged here in the main screen.

Continue to pick or click Complete when finished staging.

Inventory Staging Settings

In the Inventory Staging main screen, select this button to enter Inventory Staging Settings.

You will see this screen. Here you can enable Pallet Mode if licensed for Pallet Tracking and enable Smart Scan.

Once Pallet Mode is enabled, Users will have the ability to enter a new or existing Pallet number at the top in the Inventory Staging Module and add or remove Stock Codes.

There is also a Role Setting for the module that gives the ability to Transfer Stock Codes from one Pallet to a different Pallet, Pallet Mode must be enabled to have this ability.
