Error: Missing Quantity Error Cause by Comma in Quantity

If you are seeing this error below:

When you are trying to post a large quantity over "999" and after you select post it zeroes out the quantity and gives you a Missing Quantity message.

  Follow these steps to resolve.

1. Go into SYSPRO

2. Follow this Path: Setup - General Setup - Company Setup - Select Company name then choose change 

3. Select the Options tab then you will see a Numeric Formatting section

4. Within that section, you will see a Use 1000 separators field, make sure this is unchecked. When this is checked we get the MIssing Quantity error.


In the image below you will see the setting is unchecked which allows for this quantity to be posted.
