- Ensure that you do NOT have any old license file (.rlf file) in the Web Service directory.
- If this error is occurring during Activation, please ensure that the server where the riteSCAN Web Service is installed is able to navigate to https://ritelicense.com/
- If you're not able to navigate to the site, you may need to work with your IT department to allow the server to communicate with that url.
