Error - "Error occurred during Print Test"

This error can occur when you click the button labeled “Print Test” if you do not have Write permissions for the directory listed in “Device Path” or you have not saved your changes on this screen.

 

  1. Ensure that you are able to access the path listed in “Device Path” from Windows Explorer or a run prompt.
  2. Ensure that you are clicking the “Save” link after making any changes to the settings on this screen prior to clicking Print Test.
  3. If you’re not using a local path, it is recommended to use the full UNC path rather than a mapped drive letter path.
  4. The web server service "Ultidev Web Server Pro" runs as the local SYSTEM account on the server where it is installed. This SYSTEM account needs write permissions to the remote server share. Check the permissions of UNC path and ensure the SYSTEM account for the server where the Ultidev Web Server Pro service is running has write permissions. Alternatively, as a simple test to verify if a permissions issue is causing this error, add the group "Everyone" to the UNC path and grant the group Write access, then try the Print Test function again.
