Error - riteSCAN Reporting - "HTTP Error 500.24 - Internal Server Error"

"An ASP.NET setting has been detected that does not apply in Integrated managed pipeline mode."


Possible Solutions:

1) Change the riteSCAN Reporting Application Pool to "Classic" Managed pipeline mode.

    A) Open IIS Manager.

    B) Click on Application Pools.

    C) Right click on the riteSCAN Reporting App Pool and select Basic Settings.

    D) Change Managed pipeline mode to Classic and click OK.

    E) Recycle the riteSCAN Reporting App Pool.


If solution #1 does not solve the issue:

2) Disable ASP.NET Impersonation.

    A) Open IIS Manager and select your server.

    B) In Features View, double-click Authentication.

    C) On the Authentication page, select ASP.NET Impersonation.

    D) Highlight ASP.NET Impersonation and then click disable to the right under actions.

    E) In the left hand pane select the server again and click restart from the right hand column under actions.
