SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse Order Manager Settings
The SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse Order Management settings control User's access to the Order Manager module and the Status of the Sales Orders that will be accessible in the Order Picking module. These settings also control the process and experience that Users will have in the Order Picking module. This guide will cover the settings found in Setup > Roles > Edit a Role > Order Management.
The screenshot above shows the main settings for Order Management.
- Deny Access to Order Manager will remove the Order Manager module from the list of accessible modules for any Users assigned to the Role you are editing. This would be useful for giving access to Managers who are creating Pick Lists for Users and keeping Pickers from being able to edit those Pick Lists.
- Single Order mode means that the Users would be using the Sales Order numbers to select the Order they want to pick against from the list of all the accessible Sales Orders in the Order Picking module. It also means that the Users will be dealing with one Sales Order at a time and will be shown all of the Lines on that Order, they can pick all of the lines they can or are able to.
- Advanced Batching means that a Manager can use the Order Manager module to Batch multiple Sales Orders or Lines from one or more Sales Orders into a Pick List. The Users that will be Picking the items would then use the Pick List number generated by SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse in Order Picking and would see only the lines that the Manager added to that Pick List. They are then only allowed to Pick those lines that are on the Pick Lists assigned to them.
- Status Settings controls the Status filters that will be applied in the Order Picking module. Only Sales Orders that are in the checked Statuses will be available to be Picked in Order Picking. By default, none of these are checked and will need to be configured before Order Picking will load any Orders.
