The following options are found in the Setup menu. You must be a member of the Administrators Role in order to access the Setup Menu. Click Setup, then click Roles.
Roles are used to group Users for the purpose of assigning module settings and access rights. Roles determine how the system will function for the members of that Role. For example, you could choose to deny access to a specific module such as Job Issue for members of the "Receiving" Role.
The Roles screen is used to Add, Edit, Copy or Delete SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse User Roles.
You can search for an existing Role using the Search box. You can also click the column headings to sort the list by that column. Click the 3 dots icon to add a Filter to the grid to narrow the list of Roles to a more defined scope.
Defining a Default Role
You can choose a Role to use as the default Role when adding a new User, importing Users, or when a new User is created after an employee logs in to SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse for the first time. See Users for more information on adding Users.
Adding a Role
Click the Add Role button to add a new Role. See Editing a Role below for a description of the available settings.
Copying a Role
Click the Copy button for the Role you want to copy, then provide a Name and Description for the new Role.
Editing a Role
Name - Provide a Name for the Role.
Description - Provide the Role's Description.
Can Access Setup - Enable this to allow Users in this Role to access the Setup menu.
Can Access Dashboards - Enable this to allow Users in this Role to access the Dashboards screen.
Allow Multiple Logins - Check this box to allow the selected operator to login to SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse with more than one concurrent session. If this box is not checked, any existing session(s) will be cleared when the user logs into SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse.
Turn on Server Debug Logging for this role - When selected, allows the SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse to create a log of the activities for a User in this Role. This information is used to troubleshoot issues and should only be turned on as part of troubleshooting.
Log Out Inactive Users when Other Users Log In - When selected, if a User attempts to login but there are no available user licenses, SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse will log out an inactive User in order to free a license seat and allow the new User to log in. When selected, you can define a number of minutes a User must be idle in order to be considered inactive.
Convert Warehouse to Uppercase - When selected, all Warehouse entry fields will convert a User's input to uppercase.
Convert Bin to Uppercase - When selected, all Bin entry fields will convert a User's input to uppercase.
Dispatch Note - Defines the Key Type for Dispatch Notes as setup in SYSPRO.
Reference Read Only - Makes the Reference field read only.
Retain reference text between posts - Retains the Reference field value between posts.
Reference Field Default Text - Provides a default value for the Reference field.
Note Read Only - Makes the Note field read only.
Retain note text between posts - Retains the Note field value between posts.

Allow Pallet ID Generation - Enables the Generate ID button in modules that support Pallet Tracking.
Initial Pallet Number - Enter the beginning number to increment from when generating a new Pallet ID.

Deny Access to Backflush - Denies a User in this Role from accessing the module.

Deny Access to Stock Take - Denies a User in this Role from accessing the module.
Transaction Mode - Sets the mode of operation for the module between Single mode (post one Capture at a time), Batch mode (queue up multiple Captures for one single post), or Both (allows the User to switch between Single and Batch modes).
Stock Take Mode - Sets the mode for performing the Stock Take Capture. These options match those of SYSPRO: Stock Code Only, Stock Code with Ticket, Stock Code with Valid Ticket, and Ticket Only. Please refer to SYSPRO's documentation for a description of each of these options.
Stock Take Method - Sets the method for performing the Stock Take Capture. Increase will increase the Quantity in SYSPRO by the Quantity captured in SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse. Replace will replace the Quantity in SYSPRO with the Quantity captured in SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse.
Warehouse Default - Sets the value of the Warehouse field. 'None' leaves the field empty, 'Last Used' will prefill with the Warehouse that was used on the last Post, 'Operator' will prefill with the Operators Default Warehouse as setup in SYSPRO, and 'Custom' allows you to define a Warehouse to prefill.
Bin Default - Sets the value of the Bin field. 'None' leaves the field empty, 'Last Used' will prefill with the Bin that was used on the last Post, 'Warehouse' will prefill with the Default Bin of the Warehouse as setup in SYSPRO.

Require Lot Expiry Date - When selected, the operator will be forced to enter an expiry date for lot traceable items.
Allow Edit of Unit of Measure - Allows the User to edit the Unit of Measure for the Stock Code.
Deny Stock Take Query - When selected, the operator is denied access to the Stock Take query button.

Single Order - When selected, the Dispatch Picking module will use single Dispatch Note numbers for the picking process.
Advanced Batching - When selected, batches must be created in the Dispatch Manager module. Dispatch Picking will only allow picking batches rather than single Dispatch Note numbers.
Status Settings
Select the Dispatch Note Statuses that are eligible for Users to Pick. If no Statuses are selected, all statuses are eligible.

Dispatch Overview Picks Mobile Format - Configures the text that is displayed on Mobile on the Picks list.
Deny Access to Dispatch Packing - Denies a User in this Role from accessing the module.
Enable Blind Packing - Hides Order and Pick quantities from User in order to validate the actual quantity picked.
Allow Under Packing - When selected, the user will be allowed to pack less than required for an order and still mark the order as Picked Complete.
Under Pack Threshold (%) - When allowed to Under Pick, this value determines the percentage of the order line quantity to allow the user to under pack (leave blank or enter zero for no limit).
Allow Over Packing - When selected, the user will be allowed to pack more than required for an order and increase the order quantity.
Over Pack Threshold (%) - The percentage of the order line quantity to allow the user to over pack (leave blank or enter zero for no limit).
Pallet Custom Form - Enter the SYSPRO Custom Form name to have SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse update with the Pallet ID.
Capture Packing User - Select an option to update a SYSPRO Custom Form field with the Username of the packer.
Packing User Custom Form - Enter the SYSPRO Custom Form name to have SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse update with the Packer's Username.

Posting Where Stock Take is In Progress - Determines whether SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse should Warn, Allow or Disallow the transaction if a Stock Take is in progress for the Warehouse, Bin, or Stock Code being used.
Allow Edit of Unit of Measure - Enable to allow the User to edit the Unit of Measure for the Stock Code.

Order Setup Type - The order type should be selected according to your order creation process. See below for a brief description of each of the order types
- Ship - Sales Orders are picked from orders that have items “shipped” in SYSPRO. Use this if you ship items when creating orders. Alternatively, operators can release back order from this module. This way orders that are kept in back order and shipped when being picked can use this order type.
- Reserved Allocated - Reserved Allocated orders are picked from items where bins, lots, and serials were selected (allocated) in SYSPRO when creating the order.
- Reserved Unallocated - Reserved Unallocated orders are picked from items where bins, lots, and serials were not selected (allocated) in SYSPRO when creating the order.
- Back Order - Sales Orders are picked from orders that have items in back order in SYSPRO. Use this if you keep your order in back order when creating orders.
Bin Default - Sets the value of the Source Bin field. 'None' leaves the field empty, 'Last Used' will prefill with the Bin that was used on the last Post, 'Warehouse' will prefill with the Default Bin of the Warehouse as setup in SYSPRO..
Quantity Default - Determines the value to use to prefill the Pick Quantity.

Allow Automatic Time Tracking - If you're license for Labor Tracking, this option will automatically track a Users time from the start of the Staging transaction until the post of the transaction.

Require Scanning Stock Code - When selected, the user will not be able to pick a line from the list of items and must scan or key in the Stock Code to Pick.
Allow Editing Picks - When selected, operators will be able to edit pick data for an order.
Allow Under Picking - When selected, the user will be allowed to pick less than required for an order and still mark the order as Picked Complete.

Bin Default - Sets the value of the Source Bin field. 'None' leaves the field empty, 'Last Used' will prefill with the Bin that was used on the last Post, 'Warehouse' will prefill with the Default Bin of the Warehouse as setup in SYSPRO.
Quantity Default - Determines the value to use to prefill the Quantity.
Automatically Set Allocation as Complete - When selected, the allocation complete flag will be set automatically if the quantity entered is greater than or equal to the remaining quantity of the job allocation being issued.
Allow Adding Material Allocations - When selected, the user will be able to add material allocations to/from the job.
Allow Deleting Material Allocations - When selected, the user will be able to delete material allocations to/from the job.
Over Issue - When selected, the user will be allowed to issue more than the outstanding quantity for the Job.
Over Issue Threshold (%) - The percentage of the allocation line quantity to allow the user to over issue (zero for no limit).
Under Issue - When selected, the user will be allowed to issue less than the outstanding quantity for the Job.
Under Issue Threshold (%) - The percentage of the allocation line quantity to allow the user to under issue (zero for no limit).
Mark Job as Complete if Material Allocation Quantity has not been fully issued - Set to Allow, Warn or Disallow marking a Job as Complete if materials have not been fully issued.
Allow Edit of Unit of Measure - Enable to allow the User to edit the Unit of Measure for the Stock Code.
Allow Use of Weight Scale - Enables reading a value from a scale to populate the Quantity field.
Module Customization
The following options are used to default Grid Settings such as visible columns, sortation, filtering, etc. You should first configure your screen how you want it for each grid below. Then Click the button to display your current Settings. Click the Copy button to copy your Current Settings to the Role's Settings. Note that doing this will override any customizations that a User has made to their Grids or Module Options. This feature is used to provide a default view and setup for all users so that each user does not need to configure each Grid and setup Module Options. While the User can edit the Grid and Module Options, SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse will default back to these settings upon reload or logging back in.
Job List Grid - This grid is only visible if Transaction Mode is set to List. This grid displays a list of available Jobs.
Allocations List Grid - This grid is only visible if Transaction Mode is set to List. This grid displays a list of Allocations for a given Job.
Job Browse Grid - This grid is only visible if Transaction Mode is set to Single. This grid displays a list of available Jobs.
Module Options - Here you can choose to Set defaults as well as Lock those settings so that the User cannot change them from within the module.
In the following example, the option to Show Print Dialog is Set and Locked. This will cause the Print dialog to appear after posting and will disallow the User from disabling the Print dialog.

Over Receipt - When selected, the user will be allowed to receipt more than the outstanding quantity for the Job.
Over Receipt Tolerance (%) - The percentage of the allocation line quantity to allow the user to over receipt (zero for no limit).
Under Receipt - When selected, the user will be allowed to receipt less than the outstanding quantity for the Job.
Under Receipt Tolerance (%) - The percentage of the allocation line quantity to allow the user to under receipt (zero for no limit).
Allow Negative Job Receipt - When selected, the user will be able to perform a negative Job Receipt.
Disallow Edit Expiry Date - When selected, the operator is not allowed to change the expiry date of the item being receipted.
Allow Increase Sales Order Quantity - When selected, for a Job with a linked Sales Order, if posting a quantity greater than the expected quantity for the Job, the Sales Order Quantity will be increased.
Disallow Setting Job as Complete - When selected, the User will be disallowed from marking the Job as Complete.
Allow Issuing Materials while Receipting Jobs - When selected, a Kit Issue transaction will take place during the Job Receipt transaction.
Receipt if Material Allocation Quantity has not been fully issued - When selected, the user can optionally be warned or disallowed to perform a Job Receipt when there are outstanding materials.
Receipt if Job is Complete - Determines whether or not a User may perform the Receipt if the Job is marked as Complete.
Receipt if linked Sales Order is being edited - Determines whether or not a User may perform the Receipt if a linked Sales Order is being edited in SYSPRO.
Allow Use of Weight Scale - Enables reading a value from a scale to populate the Quantity field.
Lot Generation

Kit Issue Post Mode - Sets the mode of operation for the module between Material mode (only posts Material), Labor mode (only posts Labor), or Both (posts both Material and Labor).
Include Sub-Contract Labor - When Kit Issue Post Mode is set to Labor or Both, when selected, will also post any Sub Contract Labor on the Job.
