SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse Dispatch Note Manager Settings

The SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse Dispatch Note Manager settings control User's access to the Dispatch Note Manager module and the Status of the Dispatch Notes that will be accessible in the Dispatch Picking module. These settings also control the process and experience that Users will have in the Dispatch Picking module. This guide will cover the settings found in Setup > Roles > Edit a Role > Order Management.

Overview of the settings options for Dispatch Manager. You can get to Dispatch Manager Settings by going to Setup > Roles > Edit Role > Dispatch Manager. 

The screenshot above shows the main settings for Dispatch Manager.

• Deny Access to Dispatch Manager will remove the Dispatch Manager module from the list of accessible modules for any Users assigned to the Role you are editing. Allowing access would be useful for giving access to Supervisors/Managers who are creating Pick Lists for Users and keeping Pickers from being able to edit those Pick Lists.

• Single Order mode means that the Users would be using the Dispatch Note Number to select the Order they want to pick against from the list of all the accessible Dispatch Notes in the Dispatch Picking module. It also means that the Users will be dealing with one Dispatch Note at a time and will be shown all of the Lines on that Order, they can pick all of the lines they can or are able to.

• Advanced Batching means that a Manager/Supervisor can use the Dispatch Manager module to Batch multiple Dispatch Notes from one or more Dispatch Notes into a Pick List. The Users that will be Picking the items would then use the Pick List (Batches) number generated by SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse in Dispatch Picking and would see only the Dispatch Notes that the Manager/Supervisor added to that Pick List (Batch). They are then only allowed to Pick those lines (Batches) that are on the Pick Lists assigned to them.

• Status Settings controls the Status filters that will be applied in the Dispatch Picking module. Only Dispatch Notes that are in the checked Statuses will be available to be Picked in Dispatch Picking. By default, none of these are checked and will need to be configured before Dispatch Picking will load any Orders.

To enable the Dispatch Manager module in SYSPRO Mobile Warehouse, "Advanced Batching" must be selected in Setup > Roles > Edit Role > Dispatch Manager.
