Problem:
Admin: Unable to read the SYSPRO base directory registry string BaseDir
Resolution:
step 1. navigate to the following folder location on your riteSCAN server C:\Program Files (x86)\riteSOFT\riteSCAN Web Service\App_Data
Step 2. edit the WebServicesSettings.xml file, within this file, you will see an instance tag that can be changed to "1" rather than the default of "0".
Step 3. restart your Ultidev web service, which can be restarted from services.
